All-round Data Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic data technician to join our team! As a data technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing data and fiber optic networks at our customers. This work includes a wide range of tasks, from installing new networks to solving complex problems with existing systems. You will work with customers from different industries and with different levels of technical expertise, making for a varied and challenging work environment. As a data engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our clients, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, driven to solve problems and eager to continue to develop in this field.

Job Description

Install, maintain and repair data/fiberglass networks at customer sites.
Perform preventive maintenance to improve network performance.
Resolve network failures and problems.
Advise customers on the best solutions for their data/fiber optic networks.
Work as a team with other mechanics and provide support as needed.

Profile

Completed MBO education in the direction of ICT or similar.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position.
Experience installing data and fiber optic networks.
Experience installing and configuring routers, switches and firewalls.
Problem-solving skills and customer-oriented thinking.
In possession of a driver’s license B.
